What role will the subject of migration play in the future of cities under the conditions of demographic change – particularly in Eastern Germany? International, national and local experts discussed this issue.
Also subject to debate were the potentials opened up in the municipalities by migration that also point to future action for the cities in Saxony-Anhalt participating in the IBA Urban Redevelopment 2010.
The Congress ended with an international festival with dance, music, film and food.
