Board of Trustees
The board of trustees, chaired by the Minister President of Saxony-Anhalt, Wolfgang Böhmer, consisted of inde- pendent consultants, members of the state government and the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building, and Urban Development, representatives of local umbrella organisations, and players from the Central German media landscape. They met once a year, discussed policy issues related to urban redevelopment, and advised on the development of the IBA. The trustees also advocated the project.
